Q. HOW DO I SHOOT THOSE SUPER LOW SCORES ?

A. Well good news is you may well be able to.  Bad news is no quick way and you may have some real learning to do if looking here.  If you are prepared to put the work in though keep reading by clicking HERE.  I have developed a page which should get most to a very good basic standadrd.  It contains sound basic knowldge of everything you need to know to shoot well from tee to green including handling rough, sand and generally using your wedge around the green.  Even new Legends who either do not yet fully understand mapping or are not entirely confident with their mapping should have a look.  Everything from teeing off to sinking those putts - simply click HERE.

Q. How do I post my score card to a forum thread?

Q. How do I easily put our clubs banner on my home page, and then live link it to our clubs website?

A. Start to finish video tutorial (one I made before I started RDG):

Q. What is club precision? What is club forgiveness? What is putter balance and how does it work with my putters precision?

A. All eloquently dealt with VIA THIS LINK in totality IMO!

Q. Which Putter?

A. See here for some thoughts ( from Jimbog).  Mainly aimed at lower levels, but perhaps some interest to higher levels still.  Worth reading for more talk on all that balance, precision and forgiveness stuff, but mainly just my thoughts remember.

Q. How do I use my free pass to earn XPs for the club (yes it was asked for)?

A. Follow this short and simple video:

How many XPs do I need for Equipment at different levels, and how do I maximise my own and the clubs XP at the same time with no extra work ?

A. XPs for equilpment see this thread HERE - On busy days one complete random 1 hole course in practice mode keep your CDP going, and don't forget to always use the free pass so your also club gets the XP.  No excuses on that pass, we even that short video above showing how to do that.  I will quickly add that rather than selecting the super easy random 1 described above it's also easy to select any hole on WGT.  To do so just go in to COURSES via the Community Link on the WGT main page or by clicking that link I provided.

We are not some mad XP chasing club, but we don't run on air either.  Mostly doing one hole a day when you can is not difficult, and it is a club requirement that you have an eye to this.  Some members do more and that's a gratefully accepted super boost of course, but there is no pressure to do that I want to emphasise.

Also click here for everything there is to know about getting XPs .

Q. Upgrade Path?

A. Club Officer WillyBigg has it all here:)

Also and very much just for what it is worth extra reading HERE on the path I would go if starting out tomorrow with what I know now.  ScottHope's page is also well worth a visit for equipment tables among other things.

Q. What control does WGT have over my meter, what is that last second meter rush (that matters to some), and what can I do to help?

A. Answered brilliantly by WGTAdmin2 HERE in this thread :)

Q. Tier Progression

A. See this forum thread.  Understand when reading it that the RRs (ranked rounds) referred to are the number that must be played

in that tier.  Also understand that BoP3 / BoP5 RRs do not count for average calc purposes.  Below Legend Tier beating a higher ranked player in MP will also zoom your average down quickly (no exact numbers on that as WGT keep that secret).  Winning credits may also reduce an average until you are TL, and especially so below Legend.  Note also that the last poster is correct as regards pregression from L - TL (only 100 RRs was an  old thing for existing Ls when they introduced TL, and so it is now 500 RRs.  Once you are TL it's another 500 RRs (applicable ones as always)  until saturation as a TL.  That last part is important to understand, and it is why some TLs have whacko low averages even though they play real courses.   Their average, once saturated, becomes only an averag eof their best ever 500 RRs, and that is never indicative of how they usual play of course.

Understand that WGT will not divulge any exact methodolgy though - see here

Q. How do I Post  YouTube video?

Q. How do  I convert a replay to a YouTube video / upload a round to YouTube?

A.  Sadly, whilst not hard or time consuming, no real short answer.  Two ways come to mind immeditaely though.  One you would need Bandicam (or similar) installed.  Record with that and then export to your YouTube account (Youtube instruction search will enable if not sure).

IMO thopuh the easiest way to get something to YouTube now though is to stream it to Twitch TV.  Once there you can easily export to your YouTube  channel.  Remember YouTube offer a permanent storage solution, but Twitch does not.

Now inorder to stream to your Twitch TV Channel you need some sort of SW to facilitate that.  I would firmly recommend you use OBS (also free which is nice).

If you do get stuck on any little bit I found YouTube a great reference resource.

Simply read this main WGT forum thread.  Scotthope explains everything perfectly as ever.

Q. Course Notes

A.  Members we currently have Olympic and Chambers Bay covered off.   Do remember that any one can go straight to any hole that is giving them issues via the comminity link tab on the main WGT site.  Oly is special though, and warranted some notes still, and CB is topical with enough going to warrant the time also we thought.  We may add more in the future though if the need is identified.  Regret that due to time constraints (formatting when getting it over) this remains a members only facility at present.
